Introduction

The OneOrZero Action and Information Management System (AIMS) is a powerful and flexible system designed to give you maximum 'out of box' configurability while allowing you to tailor the information you present to your users, along with the associated actions related to the information.

We recommend that you read all of this document before using the OneOrZero AIMS or reading other documentation, as the OneOrZero AIMS interface can look very simple (which is perfect for normal users) or very complex (for power administrators) however once you understand the options available to you in the configuration section of the OneOrZero AIMS i.e. Item Management, Search Management, Action Management etc. we believe you will find additional opportunities to leverage the OneOrZero AIMS features in your existing environment plus see opportunities to extend the OneOrZero AIMS to manage areas of your organisation not previously managed by information management type software.

The document AIMS User and Administrator Manual is the ideal reference for normal use of the system and is available from our documentation page.

For users of our other product - the 'OneOrZero Task Management and Help Desk System' (version 1.8) - you will find that the application OneOrZero AIMS 'OneOrZero Helpdesk' included with the OneOrZero AIMS looks much the same which allows your users to jump straight into the OneOrZero AIMS world after migrating with little training.  This is discussed in other manuals.
